The Grandville girls cross country team competed well at the West Ottawa Bredweg Invitational this past Saturday for their second race of the season. Allie Arnsman led the team with a third place finish and new personal record. Her time of 18:12 makes her the 5th fastest cross country girl to come through Grandville, and the 2nd fastest Grandville junior ever. Sarah Etcher (21:22) finished next for Grandville with a new personal record and in the top 50 with a 47th place finish, followed by Jordyn Harrington (22:10), Chloe DeRidder (22:25), and Leah Vanspronsen (23:19). The girls varsity finished 11th out of 19 schools.
The JV girls were led by Emma Kusmierski (25:21) and Kassey Pachulski (26:06) each with new personal records, Celia Kingscott (26:48), and Adi Martin (27:36) and Bryana Andrade-Nava (28:02) with season records.
Additional season records were set by Makenna Kolenda (28:03), Hailey Buikema (28:05), and Georgia Moody (29:36). Personal records were achieved by Audrey Huff (23:22) and Lauryn Brachman (30:49).
