The Grandville girls cross country team finished 33rd at the Portage Invitational. The varsity team was led by Sarah Etcher (20:45), Jordyn Harrington (21:42), and Chloe DeRidder (21:44) all with new personal records. Leah Vanspronsen (22:32) and Audrey Huff (23:17) rounded out the top five for Grandville.
The JV team was led by Kassey Pachulski (24:38) with a new personal record, Mariah Martinez (24:44), Lydia DeCook (24:56), Emma Kusmierski (25:07) with a new personal record, and Bryana Andrade-Nava (25:47).
Additional personal records were achieved by Monroe Grifhorst (26:02), Josie Callendar (27:38), Lauryn Brachman (27:48), Emberlee Parks (27:55), and Elena Spicer (41:34).
The girls are gearing up to run their last regular-season cross country race at the OK-RED Conference meet at Riverside Park Thursday, October 21.
