Mini tournament hosted at EaST Kentwood HS.  Two pools of three teams

Grandville defeated Grant 25-21, 27-25 and Forest Hills Eastern 25-22, 25-20

Grandville placed 1st in their pool.

Grandville went on to match  up against the first place team in pool A; East Kentwood.

Grandville fell to east Kentwood 25-23; 18-25, 16-18

In the second set Grandville found themselves back on their heels on defense, unable to pass the ball up well enough to run any strong offense, East Kentwoods team just had so much energy and was just on in every aspect of the game in set 2. In set 3 The Bulldogs were off to a strong start, but soon got caught in a rotation that allowed EK to take a strong lead,  the set was 13-8 EK, it was at this time Grandville either had to fight and lay it all out there if they wanted to win this match or keep playing the timid game they were playing.  The lady Dawgs made a come back to 13-14, both teams put up a tough fight until the end, unfortunately Grandville was unable to clench the W.
