Girls Cross Country Conquer Tough Conditions at Hudsonville

The Grandville girls cross country team raced at a hot, hilly, and very muddy course at Hudsonville Wednesday night for their second Jamboree OK-Red meet. Stepping up the challenge, seniors Grace Hoekema (23:28) and Jenna Brewer (23:31) led varsity, followed by the solid pack of Hailey Kempf (23:38), Emily Gray (23:38), and Lindsay Keranen (23:39). Their incredible efforts were matched by the JV team, led by Halle Oczepek (25:46), Tori Francis (28:19), Grace Fitzgerald (28:48), Ella Huff (29:01), and Natalie Lehmann (29:18).
The girls prepare to race at the Portage Invitational this Saturday.
