On Saturday the boys' cross country team conquered the wind, rain and mud at the Portage Invitational with improved effort and execution. In one of the most competitive meets in the Midwest, the Varsity Dawgs finished in 26th place and the Junior Varsity Dawgs in 21st place. The Varsity Dawgs were led by Carter Livermore, Caden Livermore, Kenyon Brooks, Jacob McDaniel and Aaron Ebels. The Junior Varsity Dawgs were led by Jack Paulson, Cash Sipich, Kyle Karr, Anderson Barnes and Lucas Licari. 15 of the 28 Dawgs that competed earned a lifetime best time or seasonal best time. The Dawgs will next compete on Friday at the Kent-Ottawa County Championships

On Tuesday the boys' cross country team competed in their second OK Red Conference meet at Caledonia High School, improving their team finish from two weeks ago. The Dawgs were led by Carter Livermore, who finished in 3rd place individually in a seasonal best time of 16:33. The top seven finishers for Grandville were rounded out by Caden Livermore, Kenyon Brooks, Jacob McDaniel, Aaron Ebels, Carson Lauters and Cash Sipich. The Dawgs will next travel to Portage, Michigan on Saturday to compete in the prestigious Portage Invitational  

The Dawgs opened their OK Red Conference schedule on Tuesday at Rockford and took another step forward collectively. The team was led by Caden Livermore, Carter Livermore, Kenyon Brooks, Jacob McDaniel, Aaron Ebels, Lorens Bishop, Carson Lauters, Cash Sipich, Lucas Kranzusch, and Lucas Licari. Caden Livermore became the fastest freshman ever at Grandville High School over 5000m with a time of 16:29. 17 of the 32 boys who raced achieved another lifetime best time. The Dawgs will rest and train for the next couple of weeks before their second OK Red Conference meet at Caledonia 

The boys' cross country team continued their rapid improvement on Friday at the Ottawa Hills Invitational in Grand Rapids. The Varsity Dawgs took on tough competition on their way to a 13th place finish led by Caden Livermore, Carter Livermore, Jacob McDaniel, Kenyon Brooks and Aaron Ebels. The Junior Varsity Dawgs finished in 7th place overall led by Lucas Lacari, Rohen O'Callaghan, Kyle Karr, Arie Terbeek and Abol Abol. 24 out of 35 boys who competed ran lifetime best times and the team executed well overall. The Dawgs open their OK Red Conference schedule on Tuesday at Rockford

The boys' cross country team opened their season on Saturday at the West Ottawa Invitational in Holland. The Varsity Dawgs came out running on their way to a 10th place finish led by Carter Livermore, Caden Livermore, Jacob McDaniel, Kenyon Brooks and Lorens Bishop. The Junior Varsity Dawgs finished in 5th place overall led by Aaron Ebels, Abol Abol, Kyle Karr, Rohen O'Callaghan and Devon Lauters. Many boys ran lifetime bests and the team executed at a high level for their opening meet. The Dawgs will continue their rise Friday at the Ottawa Hills Invitational
